Physical Infrastructure and Transport Minister Prakash Jwala and Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivast discussed the issue of rail services. Private Secretary Ramhari Sharma said that there was a discussion about the Biratnagar-Jogwani and Bijlapur Bardiwas train at Singhdarbar on Friday.
According to the agreement between the government of Nepal and India, the construction of railway from Biratnagar to Jogwani is going on.
Ambassador Srivastava had asked Minister Jwala to solve the problem immediately saying that there was a problem of compensation in some places.
There was also a discussion about starting the railway work from Bijlapur to Bardiwas soon.
Train service is running from Kurtha in Janakpurdham to Bhangha in Mahottari. But there is a problem due to lack of skilled manpower for train operation. Indian Railway Company is going to train the Nepalese manpower.
